The Living Wage Commission has published its final report, in which it recommends that all public sector staff should be paid living wage, and that the government should encourage the private sector to do likewise.

Sign the petition asking Tesco to pay a Living Wage
There's
a new petition on 38 Degrees to ask Tesco to pay Living Wage to all
their employees. It's to be delivered before their AGM this Friday, so
it's best to sign before then:
“I worked at Tesco for over seven years, and saw first-hand the problems
created by poverty pay. Too many of my colleagues struggled to get by,
even with a full-time job.."
